Three pro-American organizations flayed an NBC News report last week that called for censorship of text messages in one of the latest leftist rallying cries against so-called “disinformation.”
NBC published a story exaggerating the issue of supposed “disinformation” via text message. It cited a text message campaign that almost ended what it termed “abortion protections” in Kansas to illustrate the point.
Leftists “won’t rest until our text messages, television news, personal emails, phone calls—and eventually in-person conversations—are censored to fit their preferred narrative,” Internet Accountability Project (IAP) founder and President Mike Davis wrote in an email.
