IAP Launches War Room to Hold Big Tech Accountable

June 9, 2022

In the lead-up to this summer’s Big Tech battle, the Internet Accountability Project (IAP) is launching its Big Tech War Room.

This website will serve as a hub for critical information and spur grassroots action. The War Room will inform all Americans about legislation before Congress that can rein in the overwhelming power that Big Tech companies, specifically Amazon, Google, Apple, and Facebook, hold over the country.

IAP’s Big Tech War Room arms Americans with key talking points and messages which they can utilize to contact their elected representatives and urge them to support antitrust legislation. Descriptions of the three bills currently before Congress are outlined in detail, as well as helpful resources to aid in the fight to cull Big Tech’s power.

The American Innovation and Choice Online Act (AICOA), Open App Markets Act, and State Antitrust Enforcement Venue Act will start the process of breaking up Big Tech, leveling the playing field for small businesses, and restoring free speech to the online public square. The IAP War Room will play a vital role in the fight to #BreakUpBigTech.
